Higher concentrates at greater efficiency are achievable by converting TG oils to Free Fatty Acid or Ethyl Ester form followed by crystallization or distillation. We typically produce this specification as an interim feedstock for making our Maxomega range. Both EE and FFA forms may then be re-constituted under mild conditions to a Triglyceride form.

Our Intermediates Range: highly concentrated fatty acids.

  • For customers requiring greater concentrations and selectivity in their omega products, we use the standard industry methods of esterification, distillation and if required, reconstitution
  • Intermediate processes give us >80% total PUFA
  • Intermediate processes allow us to selectively concentrate particular fatty acids up to 70%
  • Intermediate products can be delivered as FFA, EE or rTG
  • We are able to adjust the Intermediate specification depending on customer requirement
